Average Monthly Temperatures

    Comparing the average monthly temperatures in Churchill, Manitoba for 2011 and from 1930-1960 there were only a few slight changes in the temperatures.  For the months of January and February the temperature in 2011 was warmer than the average temperature in 1930-1960 by only a few degrees.  In March, April, and May in 1930-1960 it became warmer than 2011 for those months.  Then again in 2011 for the months of June until December it was warmer than it was in 1930-1960.

    The temperature was the coldest for the month of January for both years.  In 1930-1960 the temperature was -27.28°C and in 2011 it was -24.2°C.  The warmest month was July and in 2011 the temperature was 14.2°C where as in 1930-1960 it was 13.02°C.  From January until July the temperature was increasing fairly steadily but once reaching July the temperature began decreasing for the remaining of the year.
